The first track on this playlist is a soundtrack, which was produced for a coursework at university.  I had to find an existing script and produce a 10min radio play.  I chose to use a script I found called Candy Matson - The Cable Car Murders by Monty Masters.  I recorded, directed, edited and acted in this project.

As with everything here, the project was recorded in a home made sound booth, using a Zoom recorder and edited with Adobe Audition.

Stick Doll is the soundtrack from an animation I created for another university project.  This was recorded, directed, scripted and edited by me.  I also played two parts in this project.  This was recorded and edited using the tools and methods previously mentioned.  For more information on this project, please visit my Tumblr blog.

Celtic Death Note is a podcast which was created for a group project in university.  The concept for this was based on Death Note by Takeshi Obata.  As with the other projects here I recorded, directed, wrote the script, acted, edited and designed sound for Celtic Death Note.  My regular production tools and methods were used for this podcast.  For more information on this project, please visit my Tumblr blog.

Wrong Turn is the soundtrack from a short film produced as part of a team project at university.  We were asked to create a short film which incorporated visual effects.  I created the concept and script first then recorded and edited the soundtrack using my usual tools and methods.  For further information on this project, please visit my Tumblr blog.

The last few tracks on this playlist are from my honours project, which I go into more detail on below.

This playlist contains all audio assets created for Celtic Death Note.  The last track on here was created by a friend for this project and the other two tracks are my work.  For more information on this project, please visit my Tumblr blog.

This video was created for a Sound Production module that I studied at university.  We were asked to choose a 5 minute section from a film (that contained music), remove all sound, re-record and apply new sound thereby changing the atmosphere of the original film. I chose to base my selection around the famous volleyball scene in Top Gun. I wanted to change the atmosphere to that of romantic comedy.

The soundtrack was recorded, directed and edited by me, using my usual tools and methods.  The video was produced with Adobe Premiere Pro.

This video is for a Sound Design module at university.  We were asked to choose a commercially released film or computer game and design a synthesised sound track for it.  We were asked to include synthesised ambience, weather, robot, creature, vehicles, weapons & HUD/interface sounds in our redesigned soundtracks.

I chose to use three different clips which included all desired sound elements.  The first clip is My Neighbour Totoro, which has synthesised ambience, creature, weather & vehicle sounds.  The second clip is Chappie, which incorporates synthesised ambience, robot, vehicle, weapons & HUD sounds.  The final clip is from The Fifth Element, which showcases synthesised ambience, vehicle, weapon and interface sounds.

This showreel contains mild violence and mild swearing.

This playlist conatins all publicly released audio assets for my honours project.  I created a horror narrative, drama based podcast called Flow.  Everything from characterisation through to project dissemination was completed by me.

A binaural beat designed to create fear is used in the podcast, which can be better appreciated through headphones.

The theme tune was created in Sony Acid Xpress and Adobe Audition was used to create the completed sound effects and podcast.  Audacity was used in the creation of digital glitch, white noise, pink noise and brown noise.
